Tuesday of each month starting May 4th @ 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST
This 6 session process-oriented and empathy-development group is designed to help parents address and resolve teen’s inappropriate behavior. Parents will learn how to understand, influence and bond with their teens by recognizing the potential impact of their own emotional and interpersonal issues on their parenting style.
Participant goals:
- Increase understanding of teen thinking and behavior
- Learn how to influence and bond with your teen
- Recognize personal and interpersonal emotional issues that impact parenting style
- Learn how to use Dr. Buckingham’s 5 Step Empathy Model to raise selfless, emotionally generous and compassionate teens
